Dropoff was founded in 2014 to fill a void in the same-day last-mile delivery space. As businesses have innovated, the need for reliable same-day delivery has only grown.

Flexible Hours

When you courier for Dropoff you get to make your own schedule. Tell us when you would like to work, and we'll find deliveries that fit your schedule.

Drive Packages, Not People

Unlike popular ridesharing services in the gig economy, we work directly with some of the most successful enterprise businesses in the world. As such you'll be responsible for making sure their packages are delivered on time, every time.

Paid By The Delivery

Our couriers don't need to wait 2 weeks to get paid or to find out how much they'll be paid. At Dropoff we pay by the delivery, so you'll know exactly how much you're making after every completed order.

Drive Your Own Vehicle

Our couriers get the unique opportunity to drive their own vehicles. Working in your own comfortable space, and removing the stress of having to take care of a company vehicle.

Dropoff Courier Requirements

Couriers must be 21 years of age or older
Couriers must be confident and comfortable traversing the city they work in
Couriers must be tech-savvy and comfortable using a smartphone and apps
Couriers must have a registered, insured, and inspected car, SUV, or van that is less than 10 years old
Couriers must have a current driving license and a clean history of driving records
Couriers must have great customer service and communication skills

Selection & Kick-off Process

Inquiry

Fill out an application for one of our open courier opportunities.

Selection Process

If you meet all the necessary requirements for the position you will then be asked to take a short quiz and will speak with the local hiring manager.

Documentation

After being selected for a courier opportunity, you will then be afforded a contract.

Background Check

All Dropoff couriers are required to undergo a thorough background check to ensure we can provide a professional and reliable service to our customers.

OSHA & HIPAA Certifications

Our couriers often deliver important medical samples, equipment, and other related items. Due to the unique requirements around these items, we help all of our couriers to stay up to date on the relevant certifications.

Initial Preparation

All of our new couriers will first participate in what we call ridealongs, where the new driver will accompany a seasoned courier on their deliveries so they can become familiar with the appropriate procedures.

Open Deliveries

Once a courier has completed training they will then have the opportunity to start accepting deliveries on their own, these deliveries will allow a courier to work for many different customers in the Dropoff portfolio, and is a great opportunity to become great at what you do.

Routes

Only the best of our couriers get connected to routes. Routes are a set of deliveries that happen on a recurring basis and are for some of our largest and most prestigious clients. Getting a route as a courier is competitive but ultimately very lucrative for those that excel.
